Meeting new people

This past weekend we ventured down to Houston to meet Grey. It was a good trip. We got to get a glimpse into what it would be like to be a sleep deprived parent of a newborn.

He was a good baby. We never heard him cry at night. He slept and ate quite often. Gary did get to meet his birthday buddy.

Grey ventured out to eat with us at Chipotle and did awesome. He even loved the pet store, well, he slept but I'm positive he will LOVE dogs.

The Herman-ator is still having issues. No worms but he is having some accidents. I think it still may be the antibiotic. He peed in his kennel for the first time, during the day, since we left the apartment. It was way easier to clean now because I threw his booty outside and squirted him with the hose. He pretended to hate it, but he really loved it.

50

We had a surprise birthday party for my mother-in-law at our house last weekend. It went well and she had no idea about it.

After everyone went home we hung out around the house for awhile. We got her up here on the story that we were celebrating Gary's birthday. She walked in with a cake for Gary's birthday which we cut into later... while everyone was a bit "happy." I, being tired and sober, told Mike to take some pictures of the event. They made Gary do a redo of the birthday candle blowing and it turned into a giggle fest.

Looking at my pictures this week I found this one. This is how you know a drunk took hold of the camera.

I also really enjoy this photo of Mike and Jaycie. She had a plate full of cake and was working away on it sitting next to Mike, who also had a GIANT piece of cake. I think we always want to see how much he has to eat before he would get the squirts.

Little Grey

Big things have happened around here. April 5th Grey Allen was born.

He has the same birthday as Gary. Gary and Grey, birthday buddies forever. We have not had the privilege of meeting him yet but we are going to Houston very soon to do so. It will be an experience for us. We, especially me, have not been around newborns much. And there was an incident with a baby and a leg being bent the wrong way that I won't speak of.
