Our Friend the Otolaryngologist

Our friend Matt found out today that he was accepted into the University of Mississippi Otolaryngology program. Which is head and neck surgery for those not up on the lingo. Even my computer doesn't believe it is a word. It seems like just yesterday when we found out he was going to medical school. We are super proud of him. And we can't wait to see him graduate this summer! (And I guess see that baby too)

Spring Break '10

I ventured down to Austin the Friday we got out for Spring Break. I ate a lot, shopped a bit and saw Leslie three times. He was looking awesome in a pink wig. Saturday night we went out and since Austin was taken over by South by Southwesters they were having a Star Wars screening and such. So there were people dressed as Storm Troopers. People were dancing around with light sabers. That should explain the above picture. We somehow were hanging out with a friend of a friend that is a balloon artist. He made a wearable flamingo and a Storm Trooper mask along with other "adult" items. The most awesome part was the fresh do-nut! I got mine covered in cream cheese frosting and fresh strawberries!

In other news I have been stressing about bedding for the guest room. I can't seem to find something I like that is not super expensive. So we have a bed just nothing on it. Thankfully Herman has not claimed the bed as his own. I think he may know better. He still thinks the couches are for him.

Herman meets two hotdogs

Herman got to finally meet with Gene and Jude last night. He has been waiting patiently. Gene (the red one) was more friendly with Herman. Jude peed when he came in. Herman tried to cuddle with Gene.

This picture sums up our life with Herman. He gets in the way of everything. Never mind the crazy lady making the face.

I had just gotten home from Yoga when they came over so I look like poop, or should I say pee because I got peed on.

All in all, I was very proud of the Herman. He only charged at Jude twice. Both times poor Jude screamed and hid.

And if you don't know my mom's dogs are named after our favorite hot dog joint in Chicago. Greatest. Hot dogs. Ever.
