It snowed like crazy in Dallas this past Thursday. I barely made it to school and was worried I would not make it back home Thursday night. Someone had stopped dead on 635 and I, thankfully, saw them and got around. Just as I look back a car slammed into them. People drive stupid in the weather.
Herman liked the snow. He ended up peeing on the patio because he didn't know where the grass was.
There was so much snow accumulation that it broke some branches on one of our trees out front.
I got the day off on Friday because of the snow. I spent my extra day off painting the hallway. The hallway was the last trace of orange in the house. It took two coats of primer and two coats of paint! But, it is no longer orange! We spent Saturday painting the extra bedroom as well.
I leave you with a picture of the latest additions to the family. Herman's two newest uncles!

Emily's Shower
The wait is over. Emily's shower was Saturday. It was a packed house with tons of gifts. I could swear she opened gifts for two hours! Here is the mommy-to-be.
There was some great food. We made sure all the Emily foods were there. Goldfish crackers, humus, and puppy chow. My sister and I made just a few cupcakes. :)
Amy and Wendy seemed to be on the same wavelength for attire.
I loved this cute little monkey. He would be a great little friend for Herman! So many people had such cute packaging. I looked everywhere for cute stuff but couldn't find it. Amy got a little onesie with a stethoscope on it. It was adorable.
Matt was being so sweet with Mr. Zev I had to take a picture.
