Summer Fun

We've been having so much fun this summer. We are still doing our swimming lessons twice a week. We also went out for a little play date last week. 

We played at this place called The Coop and then went for lunch. 

I am hoping it is unrelated but we also contracted something quite nasty this week. We were at the doctor Thursday for a normal two- year check and then we were back Friday for a breathing treatment. She was wheezing really bad and couldn't breathe. They had a pink rhino nose that we got to take home because we have to continue the treatments this weekend. 

Summer Time

We have had a busy summer. We have spent lots of time swimming! We just recently started our swim lessons again. 

We are taking lessons with a friend from daycare. 

Abby is such a chatterbox. She just talks and talks. And she talks to anyone who will listen. 

We are also still into reading. We spend lots of time reading. We also do A LOT of puzzles.

Last Day of School

Abby's last day of school was the 4th. 

The left of the picture is the first day of school. The right side is her last day. 

She's grown a lot of hair this year!  We started off the year barely being able to walk and we end it with a runner who kinda hops.  She started only saying single words now she can say up to 6 word sentences. 

My last days of school were very eventful but that's another subject. I was lucky to go on a field trip to the Perot Museum on my birthday. We did a heart dissection then lunch and an imax movie. 

Lots of things are up in the air for me but I do know that I will be spending lots of time in the pool and playing with Abby. 

Thank goodness summer is here!

It's gonna be May

We continued to have less than fantastic weather all through May. We were awoken to sirens Mother's Day morning and spent some time huddled in the bathroom. 

We signed Abby up for swim lessons in May. 2 out of the 4 were cancelled due to weather. She was bummed. She seems to really like them. 

We did sneak in some time to get out in the afternoons. 

Auntie came into town and braided Abby's hair. 

She came home with this big bruise on her head from daycare. Lord knows what she did. 

Spring

We have had a nice Spring here. We have some nice days to get out and explore. Abby currently really loves animals and feeding them. We have spent some late afternoons feeding the birds in our yard. 

She still loves all things Frozen. The sun glasses above are Frozen themed. And she never passes up a chance to watch it when I need to make dinner. 

We have six more weeks of school to get through and then it will be summer. That's only if it ever stops raining in Dallas. 

Frozen

The weather has been horrible here in the last month or so. I thought I would have gotten away with my snow days in tact but no. 

Spring break wasn't so springy. There were about two good days and one of which we went to the zoo.  Abby enjoyed it but not the birds. I think she was a bit traumatized.

We also went to the science museum in Frisco. It is small but great for her age. She got to roam around and try out all sorts of things. 

We are Frozen obsessed lately. If we aren't watching the movie, we want the soundtrack or clothes or dolls. 

We tried out the horses at LaHa and she wasn't so sure about them. 

iPhone Dump

We've been busy. School started up after the holidays and then we all got sick. Now it's the middle of February. 

She's been into everything. She also talks up a storm. She can say two word sentences and tell you many animal names and noises. 

She is a big fan of coloring. 

Daddy was out of town a few times lately and we took a selfie for him. 

There's been a few warm days lately where we got to get out in the sun. 

She bought me these slippers but she likes to steal them. 

Too much party.

Abby got to play with all of our old Barbie clothes this weekend. She enjoyed it but I probably enjoyed it more. Who knew 80s Barbie was bustier than 2015 Barbie? 

More outside play!

Valentine's Day party at school! It was her first time with a Capri Sun. I think she partied too hard because she was a grump later on that night.
