Three months

Abby turned three months Tuesday.  It was quite a day as she got kicked out of daycare for her non-contagious eczema.  G had to pick her up and take her to the doctor so she could go back the next day.  She still took some nice pictures.  All with her hand in her mouth and blotchy skin. 

At three months she is wearing six month clothes and is as big as the 5 month old in her daycare class.  She is a happy girl who is giggly and full of smiles.  She loves to hold on to her rings.  She is starting to watch TV with us. Not sure how to feel about that.  We watch some not so appropriate shows.  Here's hoping The Walking Dead doesn't scar her for life.

We had quite the morning this morning.  A blow out at What-a-burger before heading down to put on the pool cover at her great grandparents' house.  She has not seen them for quite awhile.

Tomorrow we have pictures in the McKinney square.  Then we will be doing Halloween as G is setting up his light show.  Come back for Halloween Abby!

What's been going on

Abby met G's long time friend Chris for the first time a few weeks ago.  Yes, it was only September and she was wearing Halloween gear.  If you've got it, use it.  Right?

Last Sunday was Grandpa's birthday.  Abby attended her first birthday party.  She had to dress for the occasion and even had a little nap time with the birthday boy.

She has been pretty crabby lately and it doesn't seem right to only document the good stuff.  This is what we see a lot.

Her Aunt was in town so they had some A. Victoria time.

She's pretty close to a full on laugh these days.  Her newest favorite is sucking on her hands.  And she has been pulling up her dress when she has one on.  I told G he better get on that now.

Shortly we will turn THREE MONTHS.

Two months

This past Sunday Abby turned two months old.  It seems so much longer than that. 

She loves staring at ceiling fans and her Nuk pacifier.  She is really starting to be able to see things so much better.  She is also smiling a lot these days, well, not always at us.  She saves them for other people and gives us the bad stuff.  Thanks, kid.

We have survived two weeks of daycare with no issues.  She seems to like it as much as a two month old could.  Abby is not sleeping through the night.  Those who said their kid did that by now are liars.  Seriously, no one believes you.  We have made some progress toward more sleeping but I am still up with her once a night to eat.

In the next month we are looking forward to hearing some laughing and our three month picture session in downtown McKinney. 

A Little Fightin' Texas Aggie Football

Football season is here.  We've busted out our maroon to support the Ags.

We watched the game with Matt, Emily, Grey and Holden.  This was the first time they met Abby.  We posed with the future Aggie class of 2034.  They will be forced to meet up for lunch while in college.

We finally got our pictures back from Abby's newborn session.  Here are a few.

We watched our first Aggie football game yesterday and met some important new people.  Pictures to come.

One Month

Abby turned the big one month this past Thursday.  She is now 10 pounds 7 ounces (79% percentile) and 22.8 inches long (98% percentile).  We are battling some baby acne and cradle cap but are perfectly healthy.  She likes her pacifier and to look out windows.  She is getting better and better at holding her head up.  I start back at school in a week so this will be a big change for the two of us.  Here's hoping we survive.

Visits with Abby

We have had a busy and tiring three weeks around here.  Grandparents have been feeding us very well but I have a feeling it's just an excuse to see Abby.

Abby meet her first set of great-grandparents last weekend.  She loves Baba's voice!

I came back from my first alone outing and found G and Abby playing NCAA on PS3.  Herman tried to join in too.  And if you're wondering my outing was to Buy Buy Baby... not even a fun place.

We had our two week check up this past week.  The two of us went alone for the first time.  Abby is now up to 8 pounds 6 ounces (65% percentile) and 22 inches (99% percentile).  We were reminded that we had to go back for the second PKU screening so we did that this week as well.  I looked a fool in the heat trying to get the stroller open.  I'm sure I gave someone a good laugh.  

We took professional photos yesterday morning.  They went well.  She was awake during most of them.  We now are looking forward to turning one month old!
